Why I Create

My journey with a sewing machine actually began in the quiet of 2020. Like many of us during that time, I was looking for a way to channel my energy into something tangible. I started with the materials I had right in front of me:

old pairs of jeans that were tucked away in the back of my closet.

What started as an experiment quickly turned into a passion when my mom requested a bag of her own. Seeing her carry that first "jurse" made me realize how much character and life these materials still had to give.

Today, Jeans To Jurses is my way of sharing that same feeling with you. I still see the potential in every seam and pocket, hand-stitching each piece to ensure no two bags are ever exactly alike. I’m so glad you’re here to be part of this story and to carry a piece of this creative journey with you.
